Cruise the Mediterranean by small ferry boat as your English speaking guide takes you on a historical journey of the Sorrento Peninsula as you sail to the Island of Capri.
Boat Tour of Capri Island – a fun trip for everyone
Cruise the Mediterranean on a Gozzo Sorrentino – a boat locally handcrafted using techniques dating back to the 19th Century – as your English-speaking guide takes you on a historical journey of the stunning Sorrento Peninsula and the island of Capri.
You will be picked up from your villa or apartment and taken to the boat. Once on board, you will set sail for sparkling Capri – around half an hour out to sea. Take time to cool off in the blue waters and do some snorkelling. Admire the beautiful scenery and sights including Marina Grande, Capri’s picturesque main port with its the charming statue of Scugnizzo; the famous and delightful grotto that stud the coastline; Villa Malaparte, one of the best examples of modern Italian architecture; the bay of Marina Piccola overlooking the three limestone stacks of the Faraglioni; and Punta Carena with its lighthouse.
There are four hours of free time to spend in the town of Capri; visit Piazza Umberto I, better known as the Piazzetta, a small square surrounded by ancient buildings and dominated by the island’s majestic Monte Solaro. The Piazzetta is the heart of Capri’s social life, known as the Salotto del Mondo (the world’s sitting room).
The cruise ends with a leisurely journey back to Sorrento, giving you time to reflect on a perfect day.
